AFF Under 19 - Semi Final | Malaysia vs Vietnam

Remarkable Nguyen put dent on Malaysia hope to advance in Final

MALAYSIA 1 - 2 Vietnam

Striker Nguyen Xuan Nam scored once in each half against Malaysia to lead Vietnam into the final of the AFF Under-19 Championship 2011 where they will face favourites Thailand on Wednesday. The match ended with Vietnam winning 2-1 at the historic Aung San Stadium yesterday.

The quick-paced Xuan Nam, a constant thorn in the side of the Malaysian defenders, performed remarkably. His first goal was a superb long-range strike and later sealed it for Vietnam with a header at the near post. Malaysia struck through Nur Areff Kamaruddin four minutes from the break to put the half time score at 1-1.

The loss means Malaysia would face Myanmar in 3rd/4th placing tomorrow 21st September 2011.

yeah, good job despite fell down in semis...apparently we could see the continuity is there,we would only need to provide them with a good platform for them to mature as finest footballer. In youth,we should put a foundation and i believed then we would reap benefits.
